Peak torque in 3rd gear accelerating hard is when veering is worse, it happens on both smooth and rutted roads, for me it is the most serious issue as it's safety related.

I think the problem is a lot of owners either put up with the issue or except Fords line that this is a characteristic. Not enough owners are complaining strongly enough to make Ford sit up and do something.

Thanks for the welcome, Ford UK don't recommend turning off PDC and as you say it doesn't help with the issue. It would be great if we could all gather as much info as possible from all over the world to help resolve this issue.

My Edition has the problem and it feels dangerous, top Ford guys have experienced it in my car and are trying to resolve the issue, they mentioned it only seems to be a UK problem but I'm sure the issues have been reported through out Europe and USA.

Veering steering or zig zagging side to side is widely reported on the Uk and USA forums but doesn't seem to be a major issue for you guys, are there many topics on the subject here because I can't seem to find much.

Many thanks for the info, I thought it was strange that it would go so far north to Halle. I will copy photo and post it here, I didn't think you would be allowed to take photos. Lucky you , exciting times. I still have around a month before I get mine.

Many thanks so the photo in my post above is not Saarlouis but Cologne, so I guess Halle is a holding compound until Cologne are ready to wrap the roof. Would you be able to get a few photo's ? Anyone taken delivery of the Edition yet?

I have someone tracking my RS Edition but he doesn't know why my car is taking a different route than the std RS so I wonder if you guys can help me with some info. My car seems to be taking the scenic route before being shipped to the UK, it left Saarlouis and headed for Halle where it is now...

Will the special edition will be available in the UK? I have a mk3 RS but it's engine has been replaced due to the lost coolant issue. Not very happy with the engine replacement so I have a new order.

There is only one story about the quickshifts I think may be true and that is a Swiss rally team were the inventors but again there is no proof.

Sorry but you have got it all wrong, I originally approached Supriami to buy 200 of his kits as an English tuner was selling them for £129.99 :thumbs-down_new: , despite several attempts Supriami didn't reply until it was too late, when he did he wanted payment in full which was impossible...

Sorry you feel that way :( yes the idea is a copy but I'm not sure the inventor is who you say as I've had contact with others who claim that. As you can see the design is improved and much stronger, over 700 have been sold worldwide now and they have recently been approved by by the UK's...

I just wondered if you guys had heard about the quickshift kit's I have made.

That' should be removed, it's a tool to check gear linkage set up. My RS came with one in the glove box.
